Domestic Shorthair to Farm/Rural House in Corning, New York

My 2 year old domestic shorthair Echo is a wonderful Indoor-Outdoor cat who craves both the space to roam and the occasional lap time. I love him very much and will miss him, but I have to find him a new home. The main issue is, Echo is very aggressive with other cats, and the neighborhood I've moved to has several strays and other outdoor cats that he is constantly fighting with. Just recently, he followed my neighbor's cat into her house and attacked him. When she tried to pull him off, Echo turned around and scratched her. He has always been temperamental, but this kind of behavior has only come out with other cats. And I believe this to be a lifelong problem for him, as he's bullied my other cat, Zeke, since day one, and has attacked my boyfriend's kitten more than once.
Echo loves it outside, and my apartment is very small, so I can't force him to stay in, which wouldn't solve my problem anyway. Besides which, he's very clever and has gotten out when I intended to keep him in more than once. So I'm looking to place him in a household that has no other cats (he isn't fond of dogs, but he's had very little socializing with them, so I'm not sure if that's really an issue) but that also has lots of space outside for him to call his own. He likes rough play occasionally, but is not normally violent towards people at all. And he does like to spend time with you. Just last night he curled up on my lap for some affection.
He's fixed, has had all of his required shots, including the Feline Leukemia Vaccine. He's allergic to flea bites, so you'll have to keep up with top spot treatments. He has some bad habits that I've never bothered to break, so if you want him to stay off the counters, tables, and furniture, then you'll need to put some effort into training him.
I know all of this sounds like a lot, but if you or your family is up for the challenge, he's a wonderful cat to have and will love any attention you give him.
